How to Use MailChimp

The main goal of all bloggers is to get their message out and be heard.

One way to do this is to have people subscribe for updates to your blog.

These updates will be sent to each subscriber so they don’t miss anything you post.

This “list” is a BIG deal and you need to treat it as such.

MailChimp offers a free service to help you collect these emails and deliver your blog updates.

You can also use it to deliver weekly or monthly newsletters and when you’re ready to grow your blog, you can use their advanced services.

This video tutorial walks you through the steps to create a list and set up an RSS Driven campaign. It will also show you how to get the form to share with your readers to have them join your list.

At the end of the video I forgot to show you that if you click on Sign Up Forms and then Form Integrations and scroll down to WordPress, it tells you about a MailChimp plugin that will easily allow you to add a sign up form to your WordPress blog. You can also go to Embed Forms and it will give you the code to do it yourself.

Go to right now and get started building your list!

  1. Thanks, Sarah! Just set up this up for my blog with the help of your video!
